Frac Tank Secondary Containment
Frac Pit Liner
Frac tank secondary containment is designed to help with spill containment and control on your oil field, fracking site, or mining location. Depending on your location and the type of containment you need to achieve, different products may be able to help control and contain spills in your area.
Standard products offered for this type of spill control include containment berms, frac pit liners, and containment liners to control spills on site. This can help with valve leaks, frac water storage, frac water transfer, and other materials that can be leaked or spilled.

Spill Containment Berms
One of the most common products used for frac tank containment is the Spill Containment Berm. Made with either aluminum angle or foam walls, these berms can be placed under frac tanks, water storage tanks, and fuel tanks to help contain leaks. Berm designs feature the following components:
- Liners: LLDPE, PVC, XR-5, or Equivalent Materials
- Walls: Aluminum Angle or Drive Through Foam Walls
- Sizing: Standard or Custom Sizing Options Available
Aluminum angle berms are perfect for locations needing a sturdy, higher level wall, while the foam wall berms can provide a drive through wall where frac tanks can easily enter and exit the berm.
Frac Pit and Location Liners
In addition to collection and containment berms, we also offer several different Containment Liners that can be used to help contain and control liquids in your oil field location. Similar to our containment berms, liners will frequently feature LLDPE, XR-5, Polypropylene, or equivalent materials to help contain liquids in your area.
Liners feature the following components:
- Liner Materials
- XR-5 (or Equivalent)
- LLDPE/HDPE Blend
- LLDPE
- Polypropylene
- Polyethylene Dump Truck Liners
Liners can be made to lie flat under equipment, inside frac pit areas, or directly inside a frac tank to help control and contain solutions and liquids. For frac tank containment, please let us know the size needed, the intended application of the product, and the type of liquid being stored. From here we can work to find a liner to meet your application.
